Summer Learning Journey (Week 3 Day 3)

⛹Inventive Inventors🏡

Hi bloggers, Pao is here😲👈, I can not bealive that we are now in 2020! I wonder what would happen this decade😏 By the way.. today I am going to talk about Michelle Dickinson is a nanotechnologist. If you have no clue what does nanotechnologist means, it means an engineer or scientist who works with very small items called molecules. Got it😉👍. Michelle is also famous for creating cool shows about science which she performs as Nanogirl in schools around New Zealand! COOL! Like Michelle, some of the people in New Zealand like to create nano size stuff. Some people even like to build tiny houses. I am tottaly one of them! That was just a quick fact about Michelle Dickinson. Let me tell you some more facts about Michelle Dickinson.

1. Her late father was an English Maltese soldier and her mother is from Hong Kong!

2. She has her own business, Nanogirl Labs Ltd, and she is the co founded the education charity OMGTech!

3. She was born in England

Those were some facts about Michelle Dickinson. Did you know them? I didn't! Our task was to visit the Build Tiny New Zealand website and go to the bottom of the page where you will find Video Tours of tiny houses. Watch any three videos on the site. On your blog, tell us whether, or not, you would like to live in a tiny house one day. Why/why not?

I would not live in a tiny house because...

1. Humans can step on it if it is on the ground (and I mean big humans because you will be tiny)

2. Cats, dogs, any kind of animal can lick the house and it can lick you aswell if you are outside of the house

3. You would not have food

I don't think that will all happen in one day, but who knows, anything can happen

Thank you for watching

Bye Bye Bye😆

  1. Kia Ora Pao,

Those are some interesting reasons to not live in a Tiny House. Tiny houses aren’t as small as people think they are. Some are bigger than city apartments. I think the big difference is the bedroom is really just a bed ( normally on a loft above the bathroom or living room). I think I would want to live in a tiny house because it’s smaller than a normal house so it will be easier to clean!

  2. Hello Dani

Thank you for this cool comment

Ooh, now I know how a tiny house is actually is. But I still agree on not living on a tiny house for one day. You have a very good reason for living in one of them. Thank you Dani😁.
