Summer Learning Journey (Week 2 Day 4 activity 2)

🎄🤶Celebrating Diversity🤶🎄

Hi bloggers, Pao is here🎅👈 today I'm going to talk about the 370 and 500 million Indigenous peoples.There are over 370 and 500 million Indigenous peoples living in the world! Incredible! They represent over 5000 different cultures and speak 4000 different languages! Indigenous Peoples is the are the first people to used to describe the people who were the first inhabitants of a land. In Aotearoa, Māori are Indigenous. Indigenous peoples have rich and vibrant cultures that make the world a fascinating and varied place to live. I will only give two facts, sorry😭.

1.  370-500 million, indigenous peoples represent the greater part of the world's cultural diversity!WOW!!

2.  They have created and speak the major share of the world's almost 7000 languages! Amazing!!


Those were some two facts about 370 and 500 million Indigenous peoples. Did you know them? I didn't! By the way... does facts really impressed me! Did they impressed you? Our task was to tell the names of the two groups that you are interest in and then tell at least two facts about each group. So this is the two groups I choose. 


I will choose the Australian Aboriginal People and the Maya people.


Here are two facts about Australia People 


1.  Aboriginal Australians have lived on the continent for over 50,000 years. Amazing!

2. Australian Aboriginal culture includes a number of practices and ceremonies centered on a belief in the Dreamtime. 


Now here are 2 facts about Maya people

1. Their Pyramids and cities are being now discovered


2. The love chocolate, that means they eat a lot of chocolate!


Those were my facts about the two groups

    Tino Pai on completing another fantastic blog post this afternoon. I really like this activity because you’re able to learn about many different indigineous communities that not many people know about.

    Thank you for sharing the 4 facts you learned about The Maya people and the Australian Aboriginal people. Well done on sorting the information you found about them, keep up the hard work! Did you know anything about these two groups of people before you did this activity?
