Summe Learning Journey (Week 4 Day 1 Activity 3)

 The Diary of Anne Frank

Hi bloggers, Pao is here😻✌, today I am going to talk about Anne Frank. Anne Frank lived in Germany in the 1930s. This is when World War One was active. Her family was Jewish and they were forced to hide because the Nazis people did not like Jewish people. Anne and her family hid in one small room for two years. Anne kept a diary. At the end of the war, Anne’s dad made it into a book. That was just a quick fact about Anne. Let me tell you some more facts about Anne.

1. Anne's diary was a 13th birthday present

2. She called her diary “Kitty”

3. She celebrated two birthdays while living in hiding.

Those were some facts about Anne. Did you know them? I didn't Our task was to imagine you have a diary. In the diary we have to write a story about your most extraordinary day. We have to tell what happened? You can tell us about an actual event or you can make one up. It’s totally up to. We have to start your post with the words “Dear Diary”.

Dear Diary

25/1/17

Hello Diary, I am back! Today I will write what happened today. First I am going to tell what I sawed when I woke up. When I woke up I sawed meteorite falling out in the sky! AMAZING. The other thing I sawed was the Eiffel Tower! It was incredible! I got to see the whole Paris! It was Amazing! I was very excited! We buyed some stuff to eat in he Tower and then we went to Louvre Museum. We sawed the Mona Lisa Painting. It was beautiful. But it was quite small. Then we went to Le Parc des Princes. We went there because my brother wanted to go there. Then we went back to our hotel, had dinner, and went to sleep. It was an amazing day😇

Thank you for watching

Bye Bye Bye👰

  1. Mōrena Pao,

Well done on completing another blog post today for the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ). You are making such great progress, keep up the hard work. One more week to go!

What a fantastic diary entry you have put together today. Sounds like you had a very full day in Paris. I like how your entry starts quite horrible with a meteorite falling out of the sky and then turns into a dream day travelling around the one and only Paris!

I like reading this because you have used a lot of adjectives - describing words and you have put a lot of details into this piece of writing. You are a great writer, you should be very proud of yourself!

Paris is the one place in the world I would love to travel to, I am currently planning a dream trip around Europe and it is on my list. Where is one place in the world you would love to travel to?

    Ngā Mihi,
    Kueni.
