  1. Mฤlล e lelei Pao,

Well done on completing another great blog post. We have nearly caught up to all of your week 1 activities. However, we still have to catch up to your other 3 weeks of activities. You really are a speedy Speedy Gonzales, aren’t you?

It looks as though you have learnt a lot about Yusra Mardini. What an incredible story she has to tell that she was a refugee from Syria and with her strong swimming skills she was able to save 20 refugees. She must have an incredible resilience to experience this and become a world renowned swimmer. Thank you so much for sharing so much information on her incredible story. What a brave young woman she is.

    Until next time,
    Megan :)

    2. Kia ora Pao,

Thank you so much for responding to my comment. I really like how you see Yusra as a role model because she followed her dream. What an incredible reason to think of someone as your role model. Have you had a dream in mind that you would like to see come true?

    4. Hello again Pao,

Wow, what an incredible dream to have. Have you done anything to start following this dream? I know there are some great drama schools in Auckland, they also do programmes over the holidays. Have you ever looked into anything like this?

Do you know what, I really struggled to think about a dream that I have. How bad is that? I think having a dream is a great way to motivate yourself and pursue something you love. I am going to go home tonight and figure out what I want my dream to be.

I guess I have goals that I am working toward. My first goal is to finish university with a bang. I am about to start my final year of my Social Work Degree. My other goal is to be the best mother I can be. I am always trying to be present with my son Nico and raise him to be a gentleman. I also have my eyes set on continuing my career as a leader. I thoroughly enjoy leading and supporting others as I see myself grow within these roles.

You have inspired me to find a dream to follow.

      You are a star,
      Megan :)
