Summer Learning Journey (Week 1 Day 4 activity 2

Whats in a Name?

Hi my friends, Pao is here👧✌, today I am going to talk about Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali is a famous boxer. Muhammad Ali was an African American man born with the name
Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. But when he was old enough, he decided to become a Muslim and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. That was just a quick fact Muhammad Ali. Here are some more facts about Muhammad Ali.

1. Muhammad Ali had one sister and four brothers

2. Muhammad Ali has 5 daughters and 4 sons.

3. Muhammad Ali's youngest daughter (Laila Ali) was an undefeated professional boxer with a record of 24-0.

Those were some facts about Muhammad Ali. Did you know them? I didn't! Our task was to imagine that we could change our name, and tell why would you change it to that name. So this is he name I will change to. I will change my name to Nadia. Nadia's name is meaning is hope. I like that name because hope is a really nice word. For example, I can say.. I hope bla bla bla. Thats why i like the name Nadia. Question Time! If you could create a name, what will that name be?

Thank you for watching

Bye Bye Bye😜👋

  1. Fakaalofa atu Pao! How is your day going?

Thanks for doing week one, day four, activity two about changing your name. I really like the name Nadia too, it’s so pretty and it always reminds me of Nadia Lim, the amazing NZ chef! I didn’t know it meant ‘hope’, so thanks for sharing that. I also really like the name Pao though and I’m sure it suits it!

To answer your question, I don’t think I would change my name to be honest. I like Eliza because I think it suits me and it’s quite unique! I was going to be called Hannah but then my parents decided to name me Eliza.

    Have a fantastic afternoon,
    Eliza :)
