Summer Learning Journey

Hi guys, Today we were watching videos about the birds in New Zealand. We had to tell witch one is our favorite one and liked that we finish our post. Here I will tell you guys witch one is my favorite one form does three.

My favorite one was the second one because it was a really interesting video and it had information about the birds in New Zealand. It also tell that right now the birds that have been killed was approximately 24,000,000 by predators in New Zealand so that is why this video is my favorite one.

    Hi Pao,

    It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, reading your blog from my home in Canada. Isn't it amazing that we can be on opposite sides of the planet and yet both participate in the same program?!!

    I appreciated the 2nd video as you did because I find it inspiring to know that people are working so hard in New Zealand to reduce the number of predators endangering the bird populations. It's a big task and yet people are willing to do the hard work of trapping and eliminating animals that are not native to New Zealand. It seems that early settlers made some poor judgment calls when they introduced new animals to your environment. The same thing happened here in Canada too and so we also have to work against invasive species.

    I hope you're enjoying the activities and that you'll keep working away at them.

    Meanwhile, I'll continue reading your blog.
