Hello bloggers around the world🌎👈, today I am going to be talking about our visit to Waikowhai Intermidiate. Sadly, next year I am going to be going to Waikowhai Intermidiate. Most of my friends are still going to Waikowhai Primary. So it is  sad because I am going to leave my friends. But beside that, I got to meet my new classmates and my new tEaChEaR! My new teacher is called Ms Kumar. My new classroom is room 10. My classmates are so fun. This is such a fun class! I love Waikowhai Intermidiate because everyone is so kind. People are funny and like to make new friends. So I love Waikowhai Intermidiate. One of my favorite things about Waikowhai Intermidiate is camp. It looks sooooo much fun! The thing I am going to miss the most about Waikowhai Primary is my friends. I have made a lot of friends at Waikowhai Primary, so it is sad I am not going to get to hang out with them. Skateboarding

Hello bloggers around the world🌏👈 Guess what we did today?!  No we didn't do reading -  we did SKATEBOARDING! Ben and Lawrence came to our school and taught us some cool skills. We learned how to change direction, using nose + tails, learn to crabwalk, how to stop, how to Tix-Tax, and a bunch of other stuff. My favorite skill I learned was to change direction because it made feel like a pro.

It was hard to ride down the ramps. One kid fell 3 times while trying to ride down the ramp. I got scared and never tried it😅, maybe I will try it next time. I fell like 3 times. One time, I went so fast that my skateboard lost control and went backwards and it hit another person. So I learned not to go too fast. It was also hard to do the 180° flip. But the hardest thing was to not crash into other people. Everyone was riding their skateboard. It was crazy! 

I loved that people were supportive. They were saying encouraging things like, "You can do it Pao!" So that is something good. Also, skateboarding is a new way of travelling. It will be good for the environment! Skateboarding is also a good way to be confident, and focusing, and at teamwork. Here are some of us skateboarding photos.

Production (Jasmine & Aladdin)

P r O d U c T i O n

Hello bloggers around the world☁, today I am going to be talking about production. So, let me explain to you a little bit about production. If you have absolutley no idea what is production. It is basically a movie acted by students. So, this year we acted the Disney movie called Aladdin. It took a lot of time to make the production work out. It took 13 weeks of rehersals. Then, on production week, we went to act it out at Waikowhai Intermidiate's hall. It was super fun! On Wednesday the 4th of October, we did a dress rehersal. Then in Wednesday Evening we preformed our PRODUCTION!  Then we had our next show on Thrusday night, and the last one on Friday morning. Production was so much fun!!!! Ok, now let me tell you the characters in production and everything about it. 

                                                                       

So, our production was called Jasmine and Aladdin. The production was based on a princess that wants to travel the world. But she can't because of her dad, and also because of the duties a princess has to complete. Then, Omar lies because he wants the lamp but Aladdin had it. Aladdin wanted to trade the lamp to Omar for the staff. At the end, Omar wanted the lamp, so Aladdin gave it to Omar. Omar wanted to be the most powerful person in the WORLD! So Omar used one of his wishes to become the most powerful person in the world. Guess what, Omar ended up in the lamp😂. That is what the production was about! In between the scenes, each class went up and danced to their song.These are all the dances/songs. Walk like a camel (Kereru), Cha cha slide (Piwakawaka), Shoping (Totowai), Cups (Kakapo), ROAR (Haumia), Magic Carpet ride (Kaiwhare), and R.E.S.P.E.C.T  (Te Waka Ako!)  I participated in the R.E.S.P.E.C.T dance. Prouction was so much fun!

My favorite part of the production was when Omar put a spell on the Sultan. It was a very interesting scene and very exciting scene
