Matariki

Matariki

Hey bloggers around the world🌎👈, today I am going to share will you all what we did in Matariki. Firstly, what is Matariki? Matariki is a time to celebrate with family and friends. It is also the Maori new year. There are so many Myths and Legends about Matariki. But I learned about Matariki and the 6 sisters. Now, for Matariki we did some fun activities around Te Waka Ako. we did some kites with Mrs Law, Stop Motion with Miss Daly, and Fried bread with Mrs Jones. We firstly did the fried bread with Mrs Jones. We had to🍍get into groups of six and get turns to make the fried bread. It turned out to be delicious🍉.After morning tea, we had stop motion with Miss Daly. For this one, we could do it by ourselfs or get into groups of 3 or 2. I went with Ayo. We had to do the stop motion about Matariki or a Maori myth or legend. I did it about Matariki and 6 sister. Ours turned out finished!😜🔆. After Lunch, we had to do kites with Mrs Law. It was as fun as all of them! We had to do some pattern in a piece of paper and then color it. It was pretty fun! Here are some pictures of what we did in Matariki day.
