Summer Learning Journey (Day 1 activity 3)

Roald Dahl

Hi guys, Today I am going to talk about Roald Dahl! If you don't know Roald Dahl, he is the person that wrote this books. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, George’s Marvellous Medicine, the BFG, and Matilda. Some of this books have been films! So probably you may recognize the names of this books because you have watched the movie! Roald Dahl also liked to make up words!

Here are some of his original words!

Catasterous disastrophe, sizzle pan, bundongle, churgle, darksome, snozzcumber, frumpet, gollup, and grunches.

We had to make our own 5 words! Its question time! If you could make up 1 word, what would it be? If you want to see my words, click on the link!

Thank you for watching

Bye Bye Bye👀

I like how you talk about Roald Dahl and what the person likes to do. I will make up a word snozz butler.

Have you already watched the movie or read the books that Roald Dahl wrote?
