Summer Learning Journey

Hi guys, Today we were talking about New Zealand and about what time of the year the people form out there can come and have a perfect holiday in New Zealand.
The best time that the tourists can come is January because in January it is a hot month so they can go to the beach and they can go to Taupo and to Auckland too. So that were the best times that the tourists can come on the year.

Thank you for watching

  1. Hi Paolo,

It's Leslie here, reading your blog from my home in Canada as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. It's very fun to think of you being out and about on a hot summer day when I'm putting on every piece of clothing I own each time I go outside in January. It's very cold here!! But it's also beautiful, in its own way.

You've mentioned three places that tourists can visit in January, Taupo, Auckland and the beaches. Which would be your favourite place to visit?

I understand that people go fishing on Lake Taupo and that there are mountain biking trails in the area as well. That sounds like fun! I've visited Lake Taupo but I've never fished there. Have you?

I live in Canada but my daughter and grandson live in New Zealand so I'm lucky enough that I get to come for visits almost every year. Have you ever travelled outside of New Zealand? It's a long way to the next country, isn't it? Even Australia is a few hours' flight away.

I hope you're having a really special summer holiday and I hope you'll keep working on the SLJ activities. You're doing well!

    Cheers,

    Leslie

  3. Hello Pao,
I am Vitaraag. January is a great month to come to NZ. I have to agree with you. If you were in a different country would you come to New Zealand in January? I would. Maybe next time you can say what season is in January. Keep up the amazing work!
