  1. Kia ora Pao,

I am so excited to see that you have decided to join us on this fun journey over summer. Congratulations on completing your first post of the Summer Learning Journey. Our team has been excited to see how many people in the AKo Hiko cluster are participating this year. I think there will be a big competition for the prizes this year.

You have kicked your journey off to a great start, sharing some fascinating facts. My favourite fact that you shared is the Aotearoa is part of the Pacific Rim and Mount Ruapehu is the most active volcano. That is phenomenal, but not surprising. Have you been to Mount Ruapehu before? Scientists are constantly sharing news that Mount Ruapehu's crater lake temperature is rising and they are keeping an eye on the activity. I used to live in Taupo, so this was always exciting, but scary to hear.

It’s awesome to see that you have included some great information about Aotearoa. Please remember that when you find information online you must put it into your own words. For future posts, please make sure any information you use is paraphrased (written in your own words) to make sure you receive full points for activities.

I am so excited to see more posts from you over the summer, Pao.

    Keep up the awesome work,
    Megan :)

  2. Hello Pao,
I am Vitaraag. I did not know that our skyscraper was the tallest standing structure in the southern hemisphere. Would you want to go to the top of the skyscraper? I would. Maybe next time you can explain what is the pacific ring of fire and where the most active volcano is. You have put so much effort into this. Keep up the phenomenal work!
